It's like a smell!!

When a sound brings that all familiar feeling, a nostalgia sometimes, often it's like a smell! One which reminds you of a specific moment in time that you experienced, or in some cases, believe you experienced (see de ja vu).
But a sound is all so very different and complex. Perhaps like a vision, it can make you have goose pumps with an excitement or anticipation of wonderment!!
Perhaps even more complex than that, as a sound, when mixed with a vision can bring about many feelings at once! One of the most powerful feeling I have ever experienced, is an emotive sound, with that of an epic image or series of images, that connects to you, personally. For whatever reason, morally, emotionally, physically, that combination is insanely powerful. Almost explosive!
Aside from this, sound on its own, with a somber thought, hard day, worst received text, or argument that makes you over think can also feel at that time catastrophic!
As we feed from it, we perhaps want or need to shed those tears, after all it's natural.
And we have the almost opposite, when sound is made to encourage a happy sensation, a jovial sound, when mixed with alchohol, but no where near as powerful as a sound when sober!!! Worth thinking about. Perhaps our natural inclination is to feel, or want to feel low?!

Don't forget for the sake of day dreams!!

Before you start wishing your life was different, try and remember what decisions got you to this life first! Remember who you are, who you love, and why you loved those things.
I'm pretty sure most of us lose site, and believe we belong in a better planned out life that was once so prominent in our head, where we believe we are worth more and can achieve more! You still can do all those things, just be patient and resonable!
But try to remember that time, the one which you loved beyond recognition, where you were possibly not rational, but we're happy. Know that those ideals at that time lead to what you have now, and that what you have is actually what many envy.
Always remind yourself, always love what you have. We only have this one life, not that we should squander what we have for small fantasies or day dreams, like you would be told to think ( usually by those who want the love you have or had), embrace the moments, be less aggressive, and happy in everything you do.

Brought back to life!!!

For some very unknown reason, my mind has been completley able once again to work, and accept thoughts about work!! All of a sudden, I feel so alive. Working consistently, as if a switch has been triggered! I have spent the good part of 2-3 months feeling numb and unable to care about anything other than my family. But being back, and being creative just feels normal, as though I never had a lapse, or break of any kind.
Ah, well enough of the sob story! The site is up and running, well, it never went anywhere. Well sort of the point here, is that it was going nowhere! So a little intervention, and a few changes, and it has some new qualities and a purpose of sorts. Yes, a little commercial, but still has the same fundamental values. Two parts to the sites, are the kunsthaus.org.uk, as this remains art based soley, simple and direct to fresh new works. Much is to do on here, as the online show is under process, as I await works from people to send for it!! Plus the studio is in the works, ideas have moved with this part, if to consentrate on my studio, then move into another, well I have ideas!! So, the two parts are there. Work to be done on both, and with minimal man/lady power, it takes its time!!!
